The South Korean carmaker introduced a few months ago the new 2021 Kia Seltos SUV at LA Auto Show. This incredible model comes with an elegant design and a spacious cabin. Inside, there are plenty of premium materials and techs. Alongside that, Seltos offers two rows of seats and enough rooms for five occupants. The upcoming SUV also provides excellent stability on all terrain types. Under this model, there will be two types of engines and both ones will give outstanding performances.

2021 Kia Seltos Provides Muscular and Rugged Design
The new 2021 Kia Seltos provides seductive exterior styling. Besides that, it is bolder than the Sportage model. Dimensionally, if we compare it with Telluride and Sportage SUVs, the new Seltos is smaller by few inches. Front dominates over the rest of the body and the famous Kia Tiger nose grille looks attractive as the hood with gorgeous lines.
On the side profile, the manufacturer used stylish 16- inch wheels as standard, while upper trims will bring even bigger 17-inch wheels or optional 18-inch alloys to choose. In the same category are models like Honda HR-V and Jeep Renegade. However, both ones cannot compere with the new Seltos.

A regular model is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and it comes with the new Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). Moreover, this engine is strong and it makes the output of 146 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque.
The next engine is a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit that produces 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is optional and it will only be offered to U.S. customers. Besides that, it is connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Both versions will use a front-wheel-drive system as standard, while AWD can be chosen optionally.
2021 Kia Seltos Price and Release Date
The upcoming 2021 Kia Seltos is an elegant SUV that will offer a great package of equipment. Also, it is very affordable. The base version will start at just $21,000. However, if one goes for the most equipped trim SX price will jump to 40,000. The new 2021 Kia Seltos will arrive at the end of this year as the 2021 model.
