2021 Mazda CX-30 Will Be Introduced Alongside the All-Electric MX-30 Model

The famous Japanese manufacturer is officially working on the first all-electric vehicle, MX-30. Alongside that, this carmaker will release a refreshed version of 2021 Mazda CX-30. According to Mazda, both models will arrive in the markets at the same time next year. Dimensionally, CX-30 is 173.0 inches long, and thanks to that, it`s placed between the subcompact CX-3 and the compact CX-5 models.

Design is attractive and thanks to the C-pillar and roofline cants down slightly, the new model gains a more coupe-like appearance than the rest of SUVs in the CX-line.

2021 Mazda CX-30 Design Review and Dimensions

Thanks to the new Kodo Soul of Motion design language that has evolved, the refreshed 2021 Mazda CX-30 looks better than most of the SUVs in the same category. The upcoming Mazda CX-30 provides a handsome and stylish appearance. Moreover, a lot of cues will be similar or precisely identical, as on the Mazda 3 models. However, we like the clean design and new sporty styling.

Dimensionally, the forthcoming CX-30 model is 173.0 inches long with the 104.5 inches of wheelbase. From this statistic, the Mazda CX-30 is nearly three inches shorter than the Mazda 3 model. The front looks bold thanks to signature highlights and a matte grille. The base model comes with a 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheel, while selecting higher trim levels replace those with bigger 18-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, going up to Premium trim, buyers will get a LED headlights, taillight accent lights, as the roof rails.

Interior Offers Great Comfort and Safety

The interior of the latest 2021 Mazda CX-30 will look very modern with high-quality materials. Moreover, if we compare it to the CX-5, there are more upscale materials. This system now included the lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian sensing, and adaptive cruise control.

Powertrain Specs

The new 2021 Mazda CX-30 will also use the same powertrain as the Mazda 3 sedan. Under the hood of this model is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that delivers 186 HP. This powertrain will use 6-speed automatic gearbox as the primary and the only option. The next engine is a Mazda’s SkyActiv-X 2.0-liter four-cylinder.

Thanks to this system, the engine delivers more outputs, around 250 hp, and a better fuel economy. The new CX-30 is the compact crossover that will be offered with a front-wheel-drive system as standard. However, we can expect an all-wheel-drive setup optionally and standard on higher trims.

Cost and Arrival

According to the latest news, Mazda’s all-new compact crossover CX-30 will hit the markets sometime this year. From some gossip, it will be available to purchase at the end of this year. The price of 2021 Mazda CX-30 is unfortunately still unavailable, but from some expert’s view, this model will cost between $20,000 and $25,000.
