The current generation of Nissan’s funky-looking subcompact crossover has been around since 2019 but it looks surprisingly fresh. Nevertheless, the Japanese manufacturer keeps it up to date in technical aspects as well, considering that the hybrid version was introduced for the 2022 model in Europe and now it’s coming to Australia. The system is basically the same, while there are also minor visual tweaks that bring minimal difference compared to the previous model years.

In any case, the 2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid continues to deliver what it does best. It looks attractive and combines that with solid performance and decent practicality. Moreover, the hybrid version offers notable benefits in terms of performance and fuel economy, especially in urban environments.

2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid

2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid Powertrain

The heart and soul of the 2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid is its powertrain, which is modern but isn’t new, considering that we’ve already seen it in Juke’s siblings from Renault – Clio and Captur. The system uses a proven 1.6-liter normally aspirated four-cylinder engine that puts out around 93 horsepower (69kW) and 148 pound-feet of torque. It gets help from a single electric motor with 48 horses (36kW) and 205Nm of torque, but the company never came up with the combined output. In any case, the overall performance is notably better compared to the version powered with a 1.0-liter turbo engine.

The system comes with a 1.2-kWh battery, which offers EV mode and comes with a pretty nice multi-mode gearbox that sends power to the front.

Fuel Economy

The hybrid version is not just more capable than the turbo-petrol unit, but also offers better fuel economy, especially in urban conditions. The combined fuel economy goes around 5.2 lt/100km (50 US mpg / 54 UK mpg), which is pretty good for a small crossover. When it comes to CO2 emissions, the Juke is good for about 118 g/km.

As we already mentioned, the hybrid system includes a 1.2-kWh battery. Also, you may count on regenerative braking, as well as the e-Pedal mode. Thanks to these features the pure EV mode is available too and works at speeds of up to 55km/h. The company didn’t come up with the EV range but if we consider that this is a self-charging hybrid, it probably isn’t too long.

2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid specs

2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid Design

In terms of the overall design, not many things have changed since the initial launch three years ago. The crossover rides on the CMF-B platform and shares most of the parts with Renault Captur, in terms of mechanics. On the other hand, the exterior design comes in Juke’s typical manner, with lots of funky design solutions and recognizable twin headlights. Among new details, there is a slightly redesigned grille, new logo, new rear spoiler and a few more things.

The same thing is with the interior design, which comes with a nice-looking dashboard that isn’t much different from the petrol version. You can find recognizable design solutions, with the main difference in the instrument cluster, which comes with gauges adapted to the hybrid powertrain. The cabin is reasonably spacious given the overall dimensions, though the second-row passengers may have some trouble with headroom.

2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid Interior

Features

While the actual trim level organization depends on the market, the fact is that every base Juke comes equipped fairly well. Some of the highlights are 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rearview camera, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition etc.

Among many available options you can get, some of the highlights are goodies like LED foglights, heated seats, navigation, parking sensors, push-button start, ambient lighting, leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, automatic cruise control, 360-degree camera etc.

Finally, the most expensive versions come with various materials upgrades like leather and chrome, 10-speaker Bose audio system, Alcantara seats, 19-inch wheels, privacy glass etc.

2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid Release Date and Price

The 2023 Nissan Juke Hybrid will hit all markets by the end of year. When it comes to starting price, the UK version currently starts at around £27,000, whch is equial to 49.000 Australian Dollars.

The entry-level crossover of the Bavarian carmaker has just been redesigned and the new, third generation brings a lot of interesting novelties, even though most of them are evolutionary. Simply, BMW designers didn’t want to experiment with the popular SUV, so the new generation represents evolution of the previous design. For that reason, it makes perfect sense to expect no bigger changes for the 2024 BMW X1, which will represent the second production year of the new generation.

This clearly refers to the standard model. On the other hand, various sources speculate about the high-performance version with the famous M badge, which could come with all kinds of upgrades. Of course, the engine is one of them but we could see upgrades in many other aspects as well. The rest of the lineup should bring no bigger changes, though small updates like new color options or new standard features are always possible.

2024 BMW X1

2024 BMW X1 Design

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2024 BMW X1 will represent the second production year of the new generation. Therefore, we don’t believe we could see more important updates. The recent design has brought a new design, characterized mostly by evolutionary changes. There is the new, more aggressive styling, while the new model also rides on a familiar UKL2 architecture. Still, we saw some slight mechanical revisions, which improved performance even more.

On the other hand, many sources speculate about the high-performance version, which would come as the 2024 BMW X1 M. That model would bring all kinds of upgrades, starting from the new powertrain. Furthermore, we count on various chassis upgrades, such as performance suspension, bigger brakes and similar things. Moreover, we also count on a lot of exclusive styling details, which will emphasize the model’s sporty nature.

Interior

Of course, the interior design will continue in the same way as well. We will see the same layout, which brought a lot of upgrades compared to the previous generation. Of course, the materials are finer and there is more attention to detail. Still, the most notable are new tech features, particularly a pair of massive screens that are reserved for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. They come integrated, and designed in the same fashion as the units found in the all-electric iX.

2024 BMW X1 Interior

Besides nice aesthetics and good build quality, this crossover also offers a lot of space. The new generation features 0.9 inches more in wheelbase, so the legroom is even more generous. Furthermore, the amount of headroom in the second row is surprisingly generous for a car in this segment. The cargo area is also excellent for the class, with 27.2 cubic feet behind the second row and 57.2 cubic feet of the total volume.

Features

The 2024 BMW X1 might bring a few more standard features but we are pretty sure that most things are about to remain the same as in the current model. Therefore, all models should come standard with tech goodies like a pair of 12.3-inch screens, a navigation system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The list of standard equipment will also include goodies like dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient interior lighting, and a power liftgate. On the other hand, the list of optional features should include goodies like a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, head-up display, a Harman/Kardon stereo system, a 360-degree exterior camera system etc.

When it comes to safety, all models should come standard with goodies like automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring, while things like adaptive cruise control and the lane-centering system should be available.

2024 BMW X1 Engines

When it comes to standard models, things definitely won’t change. The 2024 BMW X1 will continue with a single powertrain option, called xDrive28i, which comes standard with all-wheel drive. It features an upgraded version of the familiar 2.0-liter turbo-four engine, which not puts out 228 horsepower and a pretty impressive 295 pound-feet of torque. Also, there is the new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which replaced the previous 8-speed automatic.

On the other hand, the 2024 BMW X1 M would come with a notable power upgrade. We presume that the choice would also be on four cylinders, on a more capable version of the 2.0-liter turbo-four engine. The max output would probably go over 300 horsepower, which would ensure quicker acceleration and better overall performance. Once again, the all-wheel drive would be standard.

Fuel Economy

At this point, it is still early to talk about the fuel economy of the rumored M version. On the other hand, standard models will continue in the same way, with an average fuel economy of around 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, which is very good for a subcompact SUV.

2024 BMW X1 specs

2024 BMW X1 Release Date and Price

The 2024 BMW X1 should arrive in the second half of 2023, with a starting price of around 40.000 dollars. Key competitors are models like Mercedes-Benz GLA, Audi Q3 etc.

After the 2022 mid-cycle update and the recent upgrade of the hybrid version, it is expected that the current generation of Volvo’s compact crossover remains in production for some more time. We estimate that there are a few more years before a full redesign, which is a clear indicator that the 2024 Volvo XC60 is going to be a typical carryover model. We expect to see a familiar design, with minimal changes.

This means that we count on an SUV that has a lot of great things to offer. Of course, we like the XC60’s capable powertrain options, along with one of the nicest cabins in the class. Furthermore, both passenger and cargo areas are very spacious, while the lists of standard and available equipment are pretty generous. The ride is comfortable, while the sound insulation is very good, so it’s pretty hard to find a major drawback on this model.

As there are no significant changes to come, we presume that the 2024 Volvo XC60 will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of 2023.

2024 Volvo XC60

2024 Volvo XC60 Design

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2024 Volvo XC60 is expected to be a typical carryover model. This means the same overall design that was introduced five years ago. Of course, keep in mind the last year’s update, which brought very subtle styling changes. The car looks very elegant with its smooth and round surfaces, compared to most rivals that rather practice sharper edges and more aggressive aesthetics.

In terms of mechanics, the car is based on the company’s well-known SPA platform. We like the chassis and suspension setups because this SUV is all about cruising. The suspension setup is soft and the ride is smooth and comfortable. At the same time, there isn’t much body roll and you actually get a bit of athleticism, especially if you opt for all-wheel drive.

Interior

The same thing is with interior design, where we also expect to see a familiar layout. The XC60 looks very elegant on the inside, with clean lines and a classic design approach. This particularly refers to the dashboard, which is complemented by a vertically-oriented infotainment screen and several more tech features that make everything look even more upscale. The materials, attention to detail and overall build quality are great, some of the best in the class.

2024 Volvo XC60 Interior

Besides great quality, the 2024 Volvo XC60’s cabin will also offer plenty of space. Both rows are very generous with leg and headroom and accommodate adults with ease. Furthermore, the front seats are massive and comfortable, some of the best in the class. The cargo area offers around 22.4 cubic feet of room behind the back row and 63.3 cubic feet in total, which is excellent for a compact luxury SUV.

Features

We might see some updates in this aspect but most things should remain unchanged. Therefore, base models should come standard with goodies like a 9-inch touch screen, a 10-speaker stereo, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, Bluetooth, Google-based navigation, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, remote keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control and a panoramic moonroof. You can also opt for upgrades like a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, quad-zone automatic climate control etc.

When it comes to safety features, all models should come with goodies like a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, rain-sensing wipers etc. Also, there are upgrades like a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, head-up display etc.

2024 Volvo XC60 Engines

This aspect will certainly remain the same. Therefore, base models will continue with a 2.0-liter turbo-four, which comes in pair with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and delivers a total output of 247 horsepower. The same engine is available with both turbocharged and supercharged. In that case, the max output goes up to 295 horsepower.

Of course, there is also the hybrid version, which has been upgraded recently. The system is still based on the same supercharged and turbocharged four-cylinder engine but now comes with a bigger battery. The max output is now rated at 455 horsepower, while the max range in the EV model now goes around 35 miles.

All units come coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

2024 Volvo XC60

Fuel Economy

The base engine offers pretty good fuel economy, which goes around 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The optional supercharged version is thirstier and returns around 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, which is pretty typical for the segment. Finally, there is the plug-in hybrid, which returns around 28 mpg combined in hybrid mode, as well as 63 mpg-e in the all-electric mode. Also, this version provides around 35 miles of range in the EV mode.

2024 Volvo XC60 Release Date and Price

We expect that the 2024 Volvo XC60 will arrive sometime in the second half of 2023, with a starting price of around 45.000 dollars. Key competitors are models like Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Acura RDX etc.

The Escape represents Ford in the most competitive segment of the automotive market and it does this pretty well. It is a quite popular compact crossover, which has been around for a while but which has been updated last year. The last-years update was a typical mid-cycle refresh, which has brought a more attractive styling, along with some other changes. All that should make the current generation competitive for a few more years, so we expect the 2024 Ford Escape to be a typical carryover model, without more important changes.

Therefore, you may count on a crossover that still offers a lot of good things. It looks nice and it rides nice, while there is a pretty impressive range of powertrain options. Furthermore, the infotainment system is super intuitive, while the cargo area behind the rear seats offers respectable capacity.

Since there are no significant changes, we presume that the 2024 Ford Escape will hit the market sometime in the second half of 2023.

2024 Ford Escape specs

2024 Ford Escape Design

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2024 Ford Escape should be a typical carryover model. We expect to see the same design, which received an update recently. The recent facelift brought some pretty nice novelties regarding styling, especially at the front. In that area, you can see new headlights, a bigger grille, a new bumper and other parts that make this SUV look more attractive than before. The next year’s model will continue in the same way, though there is always a chance for minor updates, such as new color options.

On the other hand, the mechanical aspect didn’t change much with this update and it won’t before we see a complete overhaul. The Escape rides on a C2 platform and shares most of the parts with Focus. It offers good ride quality, which is smooth and comfortable but also with a  decent level of athleticism.

Interior

The same thing is with the interior design – it will continue without bigger changes. We are about to see the same layout, which was recently updated with a massive infotainment screen and a few more novelties. Still, the dashboard still looks rather conventional, with lots of physical controls, which actually looks pretty refreshing these days.

2024 Ford Escape Interior

The overall build quality is good, while we also like the Escape for its spacious and comfortable cabin. The front seats are well-shaped and offer good comfort, while the ergonomics are pretty good too. With the second row, you may count on enough space to accommodate a couple of adults pretty easily.

When it comes to the cargo area, this SUV offers around 37.5 cubic feet behind the second row, which is really good for the segment. On the other hand, the total cargo volume goes around 65 cubic feet, which is still pretty good but not as impressive.

Features

As we are talking about a typical carryover model, we are pretty sure that the 2024 Ford Escape will continue mostly in the same way as the current model. For reference, the current model comes standard with goodies like an 8-inch infotainment screen, a six-speaker stereo, USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot, a digital instrument cluster, smartphone integration etc.

Higher trim levels are equipped with the new 13.2-inch infotainment system, as well as with goodies like a panoramic sunroof, single- or dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, and remote start.

2024 Ford Escape Engines

We expect that the 2024 Ford Escape will carry on with familiar powertrain options on offer, starting from the base 1.5-liter three-cylinder unit, which puts out around 181 horsepower. It’s good enough for daily commuting but we would rather recommend the optional 2.0-liter turbo-four with 250 horsepower. It offers way better driving dynamics, along with more refinement.

Also, there are two hybrid versions on offer. A classic hybrid combines a 2.5-liter inline-four with an electric motor, for a total output of 200 horsepower, while there is also a plug-in hybrid, based on the same gasoline engine with a bigger battery and more capable electric motor. The total output goes around 221 horsepower, while you may also count on 37 miles of range in the all-electric mode.

2024 Ford Escape rear

Fuel Economy

In terms of fuel economy, all powertrain options are pretty efficient. The base turbo-three returns up to 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, while the optional turbo four is good for about 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg for the highway. Both are decent ratings for the class.

Hybrid models are pretty impressive in terms of fuel efficiency. The base hybrid returns around 44 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway, while the PHEV offers 41 mpg in a combined ride.

2024 Ford Escape Release Date and Price

We expect that the 2024 Ford Escape will hit the market in the last quarter of 2023, with a starting price of around 27.500 dollars. Key competitors are models like Nissan Rogue, VW Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson etc.

There aren’t many genuine body-on-frame SUVs left in today’s market that’s overflowed with crossovers. Among rare birds, you can find the Pajero Sport as well, an SUV this still rides on a fully framed chassis and shares most parts with the Triton/L200 pickup. As the current generation was introduced back in 2015, it’s no wonder that the Japanese manufacturer is currently working on the new generation, which will arrive the next year, as the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

Although we have no doubt that Mitsubishi will continue with the same overall design approach, which includes a body-on-frame platform, this redesign will still bring significant changes. Namely, the next generation is about to get a completely new platform, reports say. Furthermore, we expect to see a new powertrain and, of course, completely new exterior and interior designs.

From what we know so far, the launch date should be scheduled for the second half of 2023.

2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
Current-Generation Pajero Sport

2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Design

At this point, the officials still try to keep most details about the new 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport a secret. However, some of the things are pretty easy to be predicted. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is the overall layout, which won’t change. The new Pajero Sport will continue as a genuine BoF SUV. However, we expect to see a completely new platform.

Like the next-generation L200/Triton, the new 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will switch to Nissan’s F-Alpha architecture. This will bring many new things, including a new chassis, a new powertrain and many more. Of course, we have no doubt that the new model will also be a very capable off-roader, just like the outgoing versions. Therefore, we count on all kinds of off-road features, such as off-road suspension, low-range gearing, locking differential and many more.

Exterior

Naturally, we expect to see a completely new styling. As the current generation still looks pretty nice, thanks to the facelift from a few years ago, we presume that the new 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will bring mostly evolutionary changes in terms of styling. Of course, we count on an even more aggressive front-end design, while the rest of the vehicle should get more muscles. Still, the overall shape shouldn’t change much.

2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Render
2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Render

This refers to dimensions too. Of course, it’s always great to have more cargo and passenger space. Still, we are pretty sure that the Japanese manufacturer doesn’t want to sacrifice the SUV’s off-road potential with a bigger size, as wheelbase and overhangs are critical for good approach, departure and break-over angles. Most likely, the measurements will remain similar to the current generation. For reference, the current model measures 2.800 mm (110.2 inches) in wheelbase, 4.825 mm (190 inches) in total length, 1.805 mm (71.1 inches) in height and 1.815 mm (71.5 inches) in width.

Interior

Of course, we expect this redesign also to bring novelties in terms of the cabin design. The current model looks rather functional and elegant from the inside, so we presume that the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport could add more style with nicer aesthetics and better materials. Still, we have no doubt that the new cabin will also be designed with functionality in mind, while materials will be more about durability than a soft-touch feel.

Considering that the overall dimensions are expected to remain the same or very similar, we don’t expect to see bigger differences regarding passenger and cargo space. In practice, this means a couple of comfortable and spacious rows of seats, along with the third row which is a little bit tight but still quite functional.

2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Engines

The current model comes with the pretty impressive 2.4-liter turbodiesel that puts out 176 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque and we wouldn’t mind seeing it in the new mode as well. However, changes will probably occur, due to the new platform. For that reason, we would rather see Renault’s well-known 2.3-liter turbodiesel, which already powers Nissan Navara and Renault Alaskan pickups. We count on a version with a max output of 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.

Some sources also suggest a hybrid version, probably a PHEV setup. The officials are still quiet about this.

2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport redesign

Fuel Economy

We presume that the ratings would be similar to the Nissan Navara pickup, as we are talking about a similarly sized vehicle, with similar curb weight and the same powertrain. This pickup returns between 6.3 to 8.1L/100km, so we may expect similar claims from Mitsubishi officials.

2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Release Date and Competition

We expect that the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will arrive sometime in the second half of 2023. Just like the current generation, the new model will compete with models like Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Isuzu MU-X etc.

The Korean manufacturer practices various things to remain relevant in the market. Besides competitive prices, it also does pretty quick updates of its models, with production cycles that don’t last more than five years in most cases. The Santa Fe is one of the great examples, as the latest reports suggest a complete redesign for the next year, even though the current model has been around since 2018. Allegedly, the new generation is about to come already in the next year, as the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe.

At this point, we know that this overhaul will bring mostly evolutionary changes. The styling is expected to be all new but on the other hand, a lot of the mechanics should remain the same, including most of the powertrain lineup. We expect the new model to become bigger and more spacious, as well as more luxurious.

The launch date should be scheduled for the second half of 2023.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Spy Shot
2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Spy Shot

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Redesign

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will receive a full redesign. We presume that the Korean engineers will focus on a couple of important points to make the vehicle better and more competitive. One of them is the size, as the current generation isn’t particularly big by today’s standards. For example, it has a shorter wheelbase than some compact SUVs, such as the VW Tiguan. That’s why we expect the new Santa Fe to grow in size and also offer more space on the inside.

The upcoming redesign shouldn’t bring radical changes regarding mechanics, though we do expect to see some updates on the suspension setup. We count on some more refined components, which would make this SUV smoother and more comfortable to drive, without sacrificing any of its athleticism.

Exterior

Of course, one of the aspects that will change most is the exterior design. The current model looks attractive but we presume that the new one could go with something more conventional, something that would help it age better. In other words, that would mean a little bit more classic aesthetical approach, with a lot of inspiration taken from the bigger Palisade. This particularly refers to the front-end design.

As we already mentioned, the new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will get bigger, while rendering photos also suggest a bolder and more muscular shape.

Interior

Naturally, this overhaul would also bring a new cabin design. As we already said, bigger dimensions are expected from the next generation, which indicates more passenger room. However, we are pretty sure that the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe won’t get the third row of seats. Instead, the new model will continue with a five-seat configuration, with two rows of seats that will both be spacious and comfortable, accommodating adult passengers with ease. On the other hand, the current generation features a smaller cargo area than rivals like Honda Passport or Chevy Blazer, so we expect notable improvements in this aspect.

The current generation looks pretty nice from the inside. The dashboard looks stylish, while the materials are pretty nice. Also, there are numerous tech features, as well as a lot of attention to detail, which all make this cabin look premium. So, we can expect further improvements in all aspects from the next generation, which should make everything look even better. This includes new tech features as well, such as a bigger infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, new connectivity features, new advanced driver-assist systems etc.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Engines

When it comes to the powertrain, most sources suggest minimal changes compared to the outgoing model. Most likely, the new generation will retain most of the current unit but offer some upgrades in terms of power and efficiency.

One of the engines that could be discontinued is the base 2.5-liter inline-four with 191 horsepower. On the other hand, the optional turbo-four will certainly remain on offer, maybe with some slight power upgrade.

Hybrid models will probably continue in the same way, though we might see certain upgrades regarding power and battery. Currently, the base hybrid combines a 1.6-liter turbo-four with an electric motor and delivers a combined output of 226 horsepower. On the other hand, the plug-in hybrid comes with a more powerful electric motor and offers 261 horsepower of the combined output, while you may also count on 30 miles of the all-electric range.

Fuel Economy

Considering that most powertrain options are about to carry on, we could see nothing but minor improvements. For reference, the current base version returns around 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, while the turbo-four is slightly thirstier in urban conditions, where it returns around 22 mpg.

On the other hand, the hybrid version returns around 36 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, while the PHEV is slightly thirstier and returns around 33/30 mph city/highway.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Release Date and Price

We expect that the next-generation 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will arrive sometime in the second half of 2023. The base price will certainly be higher compared to the current generation which starts at around 30.000 dollars.

So far, both generations of Audi’s three-row crossover have been characterized by long production cycles. The original model was in production for a full decade, while the current model has just entered its eighth production year and it is expected to be replaced soon. Allegedly, the new generation is already in development and it is expected to arrive sometime in the next year, as the 2024 Audi Q7. From what we know so far, this will be the last time to see the Q7 with internal combustion engines. After that, things will go all-electric.

Therefore, we don’t expect to see radical changes. Instead, many things will carry over from the current generation. This particularly refers to the mechanical aspect of the vehicle, including the engine lineup. On the other hand, we expect to see a completely new exterior design, maybe even some size increase. Naturally, a new cabin is another thing we expect to see, along with all kinds of new tech features.

2024 Audi Q7 Render

2024 Audi Q7 Redesign

As we’ve just mentioned, the upcoming redesign will bring mostly evolutionary changes, especially when it comes to mechanics. Therefore, the platform is one of the first things that comes to mind and we don’t expect surprises here. The 2024 Audi Q7 should continue to ride on the familiar MLB platform, which underpins almost all models in Audi’s ICE lineup. So, the overall layout would remain the same, with a longitudinally-mounted engine, all-wheel drive etc.

On the other hand, we might see some smaller tweaks regarding suspension and chassis setup, even though the current model is already pretty impressive in this aspect. It comes standard with air suspension and offers a great balance between comfort and athleticism. Also, the steering is direct and precise, while the body roll is minimal, so we expect to see nothing but fine-tuning.

Exterior

What we do expect from the upcoming redesign is the new exterior design. First of all, there is the matter of size, as some sources suggest bigger dimensions. Allegedly, we could see a longer wheelbase, which makes sense if we consider that the current model isn’t particularly generous with the third-row passenger room and overall cargo capacity.

Of course, there is styling. We count on a new appearance, with a design language that takes some inspiration from newer Audi models, including all-electric ones, such as the e-tron. That would mean a more prominent grill design, narrower headlights, sharper lines etc. On the other hand, we don’t believe that the overall shape could change much.

Interior

Another important aspect of this redesign is the interior. Audi has always been known for making some of the nicest cabins in the business and the current generation is no exception. Despite the age, it looks very elegant, thanks to the combination of conservative aesthetics and high-quality materials. Furthermore, there is a pretty generous offer of tech features, which makes everything looks even more upscale.

2024 Audi Q7 Interior

So, we presume that the 2024 Audi Q7 will follow the same design philosophy, with a similar approach but a more modern layout. Once again, we should see a combination of conservative aesthetics and super-fine materials, along with lots of tech features.

When it comes to seating configuration, you may expect three rows of seats. The rumored size increase promises more room in the third row and a bigger cargo area. On the other hand, the first two rows are already very generous with space and offer a high level of comfort.

2024 Audi Q7 Engines

As we already mentioned, most of the current engine options should carry over, starting from the base 2.0-liter turbo-four, which puts out around 250 horsepower. However, the new version of the engine will probably get a mild-hybrid system. On the other hand, the 3.0-liter V6 already comes with such a setup and offers a max output of 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there is the SQ7 model, equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which puts out 500 horsepower and which could also get a mild-hybrid setup.

The current generation is also available in two PHEV variants and we presume they will carry on, with possible upgrades. Both versions are based on the V6 engine. The more basic version puts out around 376 horsepower, while the more powerful one is good for about 450 horsepower.

All units will continue with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

2024 Audi Q7 Release Date and Price

We expect that the next-generation 2024 Audi Q7 will arrive sometime in the second half of 2023, with a starting price of around 60.000 dollars. Key competitors are models like BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90 etc.

The new generation of Dacia’s SUV is on the way and it looks like the changes will be much more significant than the previous. To remind you, the original model appeared in 2010, while the 2017 redesign brought lots of changes but continued to ride on the same B0 platform. That won’t be the case anymore, as the all-new 2024 Dacia Duster will get a complete overhaul. It will ride on a  new platform and also come with all kinds of upgrades and updates. All in all, we expect it to be even more competitive than the outgoing generation.

The new platform will open up all kinds of new possibilities, including the new all-wheel-drive system. Naturally, we will see a completely new styling, along with the new cabin. Big novelties are expected under the hood as well. The new Duster probably won’t go all-electric, but a hybrid version is a certain thing.

2024 Dacia Duster redesign

2024 Dacia Duster Design

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2024 Dacia Duster will receive a complete overhaul. At this point, we don’t know all the details but we are pretty sure that the old B0 platform will be replaced with the new one. That should be the CMF-B platform, which already underpins a couple of new Dacia models, such as Sander and Logan. Of course, it should bring all kinds of improvements, starting from better ride quality. Furthermore, it will allow the implementation of new, electrified powertrains.

Another thing worth mentioning is that the new platform also means a new AWD system. The current 4WD was developed a long time ago by Nissan and although it offers impressive performance, it needs updates. That’s why the Romanian carmaker works on a new one, which will be adapted to the new platform and provide even better performance.

Exterior

Naturally, one of the biggest novelties of this redesign will be the new styling. Things will be notably different compared to the current model. According to the latest reports, the new model will look bolder and more muscular. Moreover, renderings already appeared and they show a styling that clearly takes inspiration from the Bister Concept.

Besides the new aesthetics, the new 2024 Dacia Duster could also feature bigger dimensions. At this point, details are still unknown but we presume the new model could feature a slightly bigger size. This refers to the wheelbase as well, though these increases should be minor. For reference, the outgoing model is 4320mm long, 1822mm wide and 1630mm high, while the wheelbase goes around 2673mm.

2024 Dacia Duster side view

Interior

The original model featured poor interior quality, while the current generation brought significant upgrades. We expect the third generation to make things even better and offer a cabin that will be competitive with more expensive models from more renowned brands.

Therefore, we count on more attractive aesthetics, as well as on nicer materials. Furthermore, we count on all kinds of new tech goodies, including a new infotainment screen, new connectivity features etc.

As the exterior dimensions probably won’t get significantly bigger, we may presume that the amount of passenger space will remain quite similar as well. The same thing is with the cargo area.

2024 Dacia Duster Engines

This SUV is offered in various markets, so it’s no wonder it comes with several engine options on offer. Many of them should carry on in the new generation, starting from the capable 1.3-liter turbo-four petrol unit. The diesel version is still uncertain but most experts believe that the good-old 1.5-liter unit will find its place in the new model, at least in Europe.

On the other hand, the biggest novelty should be the hybrid powertrain. According to some sources, the 2024 Dacia Duster could come with the same setup as Nissan Juke Hybrid, which would mean a naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol unit in a combination with an electric motor. The petrol unit puts out 93 horsepower, while the electric motor is good for 48 horses and comes coupled with a 1.2-kWh battery. The same combination is available with a bigger 9.8-kWh battery and a plug-in hybrid setup.

Fuel Economy

When it comes to fuel economy, we presume that the ratings for the turbo-four petrol would remain pretty similar to the current generation, which is good for about 6L/100km in a combined ride. On the other hand, the good-old 1.5-liter dCi turbodiesel offers a pretty impressive 5L/100km combined. Of course, fuel consumption ratings for the hybrid models would also be pretty impressive.

2024 Dacia Duster Release Date

We expect that the 2024 Dacia Duster will have a premiere the next summer and hit showrooms next fall. Some of the key competitors are models like Seat Ateca, Skoda Karoq, Suzuki Vitara etc.

The new generation of Pilot is coming for the 2023 model year. The new model is almost ready for its launch and from what we can see, it will bring a lot of interesting novelties and some important upgrades. Most importantly, it will be more rugged and will offer better off-road performance. Naturally, it will offer a nicer cabin and more features. On the other hand, the powertrain will remain largely the same, which is why many sources suggest an additional powertrain option, a hybrid version. That model could come already with the second production year, as the 2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid.

2024 Honda Pilot front

2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid

As we’ve just mentioned, the second production year of the new generation could bring a hybrid powertrain. At this point, we don’t have any details about the powertrain but we believe this could rather be a plug-in hybrid setup than a classic hybrid, like the one that can be found in the smaller CR-V. Most likely, we would see a system that’s based on a 2.0-liter turbo-four, which would come in pair with a capable electric motor, which should ensure a combined output that goes between 300 and 350 horsepower, according to our rough estimation.

On the other hand, base models will continue with a good-old 3.5-liter V6, which not features a max output of 285 horsepower, 5 more compared to the previous generation. Also, there is a new 10-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the previous 9-speed unit.

Fuel Economy

There is no doubt that the new hybrid powertrain will be highly beneficial in terms of fuel efficiency. At this point, it’s early to talk about numbers but we are pretty sure that mpg ratings will be notably better compared to the base model with the V6 engine. That V6 engine returns around 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, which are typical ratings for a mid-size SUV.

2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid Trailsport

As you probably know, this redesign has brought notable improvements to the off-road-oriented Trailsport version. This version now features various upgrades, starting from a 1.0-inch suspension lift, as well as an upgraded AWD system, which now features a new Trail mode. Furthermore, there are upgrades like all-terrain tires, hill-descent control etc. Of course, this version also features some exclusive styling details, which accentuate the model’s off-road character.

Of course, the Trailsport currently comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine and standard all-wheel drive. On the other hand, many wonder if the new hybrid powertrain could find its place in this trim level. It’s hard to say at this point but there’s no doubt that such a version would require a couple of modifications.

2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid Trailsport

2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid Design

Other than the new powertrain, the 2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid won’t feature bigger changes. We will see all the novelties that were introduced with the recent redesign, starting from a completely new look, which brings a bolder and more rugged appearance. Of course, the most prominent is the new front end, with new headlights, a massive grille and other features.

The rest of the vehicle also looks pretty rugged and off-road-ready, while we should also mention that the wheelbase has been stretched by 2.5 inches. At the same time, overhangs are shorter, which makes the new model look more attractive than before.

Notable mechanical changes have been made as well. The new model offers a more engaging ride and more direct handling but keeps comfort and smoothness a priority.

Interior

Once again, expect no bigger changes compared to the standard gasoline version. The cabin will offer the same design, which has so many amazing things to offer, starting from a completely redesigned dashboard, which looks more elegant and more upscale than before. The materials are also nicer, and the build quality is very good. Also, there are new tech features, such as a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, standard 9.0-inch and optional 10.2-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, available 12-speaker audio system and more.

2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid Interior

We don’t believe that the battery could compromise interior space too much. So, this version should also offer two spacious and comfortable rows of seats, as well as a pretty functional third row.

2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid Release Date and Price

The 2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid is still waiting for official confirmation, so we won’t estimate the price at this point. On the other hand, rumors suggest that this model could arrive already in the second half of 2023. Base models with gasoline engines will cost around 40.000 dollars.

This super-capable SUV, designed primarily for Asian and Australian markets, is about to get a full redesign. Those are the attest reports we are getting from our reliable sources and it looks like the changes are going to be pretty big. Although the officials are still quiet, many sources suggest a lot of significant changes, which will include new powertrain options, electrification and many more. The new model should arrive sometime in the next year,  as the 2024 Toyota Fortuner.

Once again, the Fortuner will share most of its parts with Hilux, which is also about to get completely redesigned in the next year. We expect to see the new platform, as well as a completely new exterior design. Interior design changes are also a certain thing and despite the novelties, the new generation won’t change its nature. It will continue as a genuine BoF SUV, with excellent off-road performances but improved on-road manners.

2024 Toyota Fortuner Render
2024 Toyota Fortuner Render

2024 Toyota Fortuner Redesign

As we’ve just mentioned, changes will be significant. What we expect to see is a new model, riding on the company’s new TNGA-F platform, which already underpins models like Tundra and Sequoia, as well as the luxurious Land Cruiser. Therefore, the new model will continue as a body-on-frame SUV. The new platform will open a whole spectrum of new possibilities, including possible electrification.

Of course, the new platform will improve on-road manners, thanks to the lower center of gravity, new suspension setup etc. However, the focus will remain on off-road performance, where this SUV really shines. So, count on a rugged-enough suspension, as well as a full load of off-road goodies, starting from things like locking differentials, skid plates, a two-speed transfer case, hill-descent control etc.

Exterior

When it comes to the exterior design, we expect big changes. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is styling. The current model looks nice but we expect that the new generation will look way more aggressive. We presume that the front end will take a lot of inspiration from other Toyota SUVs, such as Sequoia and Land Cruiser 300.

The overall shape should bring a bolder and more muscular appearance. On the other hand, we don’t expect bigger changes regarding dimensions. The new model will continue with the same wheelbase, which is relatively short for the segment but which ensures great off-road potential. The same is with the rest of the proportion, which should go far away from the outgoing model.

2024 Toyota Fortuner
Current-Generation Fortuner

Interior

Naturally, we expect this redesign also to bring a completely new interior. The current cabin looks nice but we expect that the new generation will bring notable improvements. This particularly refers to things like dashboard design, which should come with more car-like aesthetics. Also, we count on finer materials, as well as more tech features, including a new infotainment system.

Considering that exterior dimensions probably won’t change, we presume that the amount of passenger space will remain pretty similar. We expect to see a couple of spacious and comfortable seats, while the third row will be relatively tight. The cargo area should also be generous.

2024 Toyota Fortuner Engines

The current model comes with a 2.8-liter turbodiesel, which was updated a few years ago and now features 201 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. We are pretty sure that this engine will carry on in the generation. Some sources also speculate about a version of this engine that comes in pair with a mild-hybrid system.

It is also expected that the new 2024 Toyota Fortuner will be offered with a petrol engine. Some sources speculate about the new 3.4-liter turbo V6, which puts out 348 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.

Finally, there is a chance to see a hybrid version. That powertrain would probably be based on a 2.4-liter turbo-four and the max output would probably go around 350 horsepower.

2024 Toyota Fortuner Render
2022 Toyota Fortuner Legender

Fuel Economy

At this point, we can only talk about the fuel efficiency of the turbodiesel, which probably won’t be much different compared to the outgoing model. Therefore, you may expect something like 8L/100km combined.

2024 Toyota Fortuner Release Date and Price

We believe that the 2024 Toyota Fortuner could arrive already in the second half of the next year. The Australian version should go around A$50.000. Models like Ford Everest and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will remain key competitors.
