The Korean automaker is announced the refreshed 2020 Hyundai Tucson compact SUV that will feature new front and rear design. This year model comes with a much better look, more technology, and a new engine offering. The Tucson model is last time completely redesigned 2016 year and it received some updates for 2018.

This includes a new leather seats, 5-inch touch screen system that is standard on the base Tucson and the optional 7-inch infotainment display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The Blue Link Connected Car System is also in the offer with three years of free services. This will be available only in Value trim.

The safety of this SUV is also better with the forward collision-avoidance to assist with pedestrian detection, high beam assist, surround view monitor, smart cruise control with stop-and-go function, driver attention warning system and a lane keeping assist.

Last year the Hyundai manufacturer has been dumped the 1.6-liter turbo inline 4-cylinder engine. Furthermore, instead of this engine, the company has been added the new 2.0-liter, inline 4-cylinder. This engine will be also available with the 2020 Hyundai Tucson. It will be available with Value and SE trims. Moreover, the next one is also a new 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that comes with the trims SEL, Sport and Limited trims.

The 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine is able to deliver to this SUV 164 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. However, the stronger one 2.4-liter generates an estimated 181 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. At this moment, fuel economy figures have not been available. Both engines above will be offered with the 6-speed automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive is optional across the lineup.

There is no official pricing list of the 2020 Hyundai Tucson at this moment. However, we can expect the same starting price as for the 2018 Tucson SE that cost $22,500 without destination charge. The debut of this model will be sometime in 2020. Most of the rivals will be models such as Nissan Qashqai, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, Ford Escape and many others.
