In the second half of this year, the manufacturer will present its newest 2020 GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali models. The 2020 GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali will be available with three engines. And the first is a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine which is able to make 170 hp and the torque of 203 lb-ft. This engine will work with a 9-speed automatic transmission. There will be a choice between front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The FWD variant will get 26/30 mpg while the AWD model is rated at 24/28 mpg.
The next is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine. This unit has the output of 252 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. It will also be mated to a 9-spee automatic. The front-wheel drive model will be rated at 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel drive variant is estimated to be 21/26 mpg in the city/highway drive.
Diesel:
The last one is a 1.6-liter inline-4 turbocharged diesel engine. It will be capable of making 137 hp and 240 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain will be coupled with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. As for the fuel economy, connected to front wheels, it gets 28/39 mpg. The AWD version is rated at 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

The newest 2020 GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali are expected to get some new exterior colors while its design should remain the same. The 2020 GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali should be launched in the third quarter of this year. The price should start at around $26,900 while the Denali will be roughly $39,800.
