The design of the new Envision will be an overhaul, and even some changes will happen inside. With the starting price of $32,500 the upcoming SUV undercuts the models like Lexus NX and Acura RDX by several thousand dollars. Performance-wise, there will be two engines available to choose from. The first one is a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine, while the second one is a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo powertrain available as optional.
2021 Buick Envision Exterior Look
The outside design will be completely revised. The new 2021 Buick Envision will look bolder and sharper this time. Generally, body shape and dimensions should remain the same.
The front of this SUV will suffer most of the changes. It hosts more chrome on an attractive and prominent grille and visually better-LED headlights. On the back, we can see that the manufacturer uses lower bumpers with different contouring and reshaped taillights. Also, the tailgate is standard now.
Interior Design and Trim Levels
The interior of the 2021 Buick Envision will host a couple of refreshments. Like before the cabin will be comfortable, and with two rows of seats, the new model has rooms for five occupants. Front seats are made of cloth and there is an 8-way power adjustment with 4-way lumbar support.
Few trims will be available and the standard model includes more features this time. So, with the base model, customers can expect an 8.0-inch touchscreen that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, keyless entry and start, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi.
Moreover, going up for Essence trim, buyers will get leather upholstery, heated steering wheel, and 3-zone automatic climate control. Safety is also better, and on this trim include cross-traffic alert and blind-spot alert. Premium II is the most expensive and most equipped trim. This trim will include a parking assist, a head-up display, automatic high beams, navigation, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera, and automatic braking system.
2021 Buick Envision Powertrain Specs
As things stand, the newest 2021 Buick Envision will come with the same two types of engines as its predecessor. Under the hood is lying down a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that will deliver 197 horses and 192 pound-feet of torque. This model is available with a front-wheel-drive system and it sends power through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The next unit is stronger, and it consists of a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine that makes 252 hp and a torque of 295 lb-ft. This engine will come with a new 9-speed automatic gearbox. Moreover, it comes with an all-wheel-drive system as standard.
