Interior Improvements

The new small subcompact 2021 Nissan Kicks will get some refreshments inside. The first impression is positive and the manufacturer added more standard equipment. Besides that, there will be more upscale materials as the techs. Like before, the same layout is present and Kick continues to be offered with two rows of seats.

The cabin looks clean and we can see the flat-bottom steering wheel, bold contrast stitching, HVAC interface, and circular air vents. As we mentioned, there will be a more standard feature, and Kicks now includes a big 7-inch touchscreen, cloth upholstery, six-speaker, Bluetooth audio streaming, and so on. More luxury can be found on the higher trims.

2021 Nissan Kicks Powertrain

Like the previous model, the new 2021 Nissan Kicks will be available with the same engine choice. Unfortunately, there will be a single option. However, from some gossip over many websites, we can expect some improvements or even more better performances. One thing is for sure, the upcoming Kicks will be more fuel-efficient.

The previous generation comes with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder that is capable of delivering 122 horses and 114 pound-feet of torque. This engine is available with a continuously variable transmission. Finally, this year’s model will host an all-wheel-drive system optionally and front-wheel-drive remains to be standard.

Arrival Date and Cost

The upcoming 2021 Nissan Kicks is the compact SUV that will get small modifications and updates over the previous model. Based on the past release, we can expect a redesigned version to arrive at the beginning of the next year.

Because of minimal changes, the MSRP of the latest Kicks model will be definitively below 20k, with destination fees included. The battle for the throne will be fierce because in the same segment are models such as Honda HR-V, Ford EcoSport, and Toyota C-HR.
