The upcoming 2021 Maserati Levante is the luxury SUV that is recently caught testing on the public road. We have some spy photos and the new model will definitively introduce mid-cycle refreshments outside. Like before, this luxurious model offers a great design and is one of the fastest SUVs on the market.
In terms of performances, Levante will get some small mechanical changes. Moreover, this model is powered by a few engine options and the strongest one is under the Trofeo version.
2021 Maserati Levante Outside Look
Outside, the new 2021 Maserati Levante will keep almost the same design as the current one. The latest spy shots are available and don’t expect anything significant. Basically, the upcoming Levante will gain a couple of minor updates and mostly it will largely remain the same.
However, some changes are happening on the back, and we can see that the manufacturer updated LED taillights. That means that they are better visible. Unfortunately, due to heavy camouflage, we cannot be sure what is changed under the skin. But definitively, something new is hiding beneath. The rear bumper will most likely be redesigned and we can see the same chromed quad exhausts as before.
Interior Overhaul
Unlike the minor exterior updates, the cabin of the new 2021 Maserati Levante will introduce significant changes. The latest spy photos reveal that the interior is revamped and updates on the dash are easy to spot. Like the exterior, the interior is also hidden under the heavy camo.
The new infotainment display is present and it will work with the next-gen Uconnect system. As you may know, this sporty SUV has plenty of room inside and is able to place five occupants. Besides, we can expect more high-quality materials and even a fully digital instrument cluster.
Thanks to that, the cabin will look even luxurious than before. The driver-assistance aids list will be richer, and we can assume a better rating.
Engine Specs and Transmission
The most potent engine is lying down under the Levante Trofeo SUV. This model will use one of the powerful engines on the market, a 4.0-liter V8. This powertrain is capable of delivering an astonishing 590 horsepower. However, the 2021 Maserati Levante base model won’t offer a new unit. Instead, this model will use the same 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine that makes 345 hp.
Going to the S trim level with the same engine, customers will get a better output of 424 horses. Levante GTS version is also available and it will most likely use a 3.8-liter that cranks out 550 hp. All engines above will use the same eight-speed automatic transmission, while the all-wheel-drive system is finally standard.
2021 Maserati Levante Release Date and Price
The latest 2021 Maserati Levante has been spied testing recently and at first glance, it looks like that will get mid-cycle refreshments. From many speculations, this model will arrive in the second half of the year.
Unlike the previous model, the new one will cost significantly more. The base model will start at almost $80,000, while for the Levante S one must give an additional $8000. Moreover, if you are seeking more power, the GTS variant is the real deal and it starts at $118,000. Like before, the most expensive option is Levante Trofeo that can reach $170,000.
