The famous American carmaker is confirmed second-gen version 2021 Lincoln Corsair. As you may already know, this compact crossover replaced the MKC model. However, the first generating sales have been pass very well, and the 2021 Lincoln Corsair is ready for further updates. According to the latest news, the new Corsair will introduce minor updates.
The head-turning Corsair will still wear the same “Quiet Flight” design treatment. This treatment includes a new signature grille, an enormous stylish full-width taillights, and an “S-section” side panel contour. Moreover, under the hood, nothing will be changed. The manufacturer will use the same powertrains as before. Grand Touring version is also confirmed and this one will be powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The upcoming 2021 Lincoln Corsair won’t change too much outside from the predecessor. The same pattern remains and the manufacturer refreshed some parts. Dimensionally, the forthcoming model is 179.3 inches long and 73.4 inches wide.
The front of this SUV still reminds us of the Aviator model. However, Corsair has its own uniqueness. The wheelbase is much longer than on Aviator and thanks to that, Corsair will get more legroom additionally from the inside. The next one is stronger and it consists of a 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 295 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel-drive system is standard on this version and optional on base one. EPA of the 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder figures 21 mpg City/28 mpg Highway and 24 mpg combined. Moreover, both engines are smooth, and they send power through 8-speed automatic transmission.
2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring
Grand Touring model is confirmed and this version will bring plug-in hybrid tech. It consists of a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-4 and an electric motor powering the front wheels. Thanks to a floor-mounted 14.4-kWh battery pack there is enough power to drive about 26 miles on a charge.
2021 Lincoln Corsair Price and Release Date
The second-gen 2021 Lincoln Corsair will introduce attractive design and more standard features. So, one can expect a slight price increase but nothing significant.
According to some speculations, the new model will start at $38,000, which is 1k dollars more than the first generation. An AWD version will add 1k to the price above. However, going up to the Corsair Reserve model with an AWD system will increase the amount to $46,000.
