This will include popular models like C-Max, Grand C-Max, Expedition, Ford Explorer, and many others. 2021 Ford Explorer Redesign
The next-gen prototype of the 2021 Ford Explorer has been spotted once again on the public road and it`s all camouflaged. According to the latest report, the new model will go on the sale sometime in 2020 as the 2021 model.
The last time the Explorer was completed redesigned in late 2011. However, the upcoming SUV will follow a similar formula. So, we can expect great design and sharper look this time. From the images that we got, we can clearly see that this SUV has been grown in size. However, duo the camouflage, we cannot exactly see what is changed.
The next 2021 Ford Explorer will definitely possess a more aggressive approach than before. Also, the Ford Explorer ST model has been confirmed and this model will be the replacement for the current Explorer Sport. Furthermore, the Ford Explorer ST will bring a much more aggressive look and more powerful engine.
Cabin Comes With A New Twin-Panel Moonroof

Ford Explorer Will Be Offered With A Few Engine Options

The first one, that is also the base powertrain will still remain to be a 2,3-liter turbocharged inline-4 that will be able to produce up to 300 HP. The next one will be a 3.3-liter V6 that is also available with a hybrid option.
Twin-Turbocharged V6 Under The Ford Explorer ST
The most powerful engine is lying under the hood of the new Explorer ST. This sporty variant will replace a current Explorer Sport, which comes with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 and is making 365 horsepower. Furthermore, the Explorer ST’s engine from the information that we got will use a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that will make around 400 HP. Like the previous version of Explorer, the new one will also do duty as a Michigan State Police vehicle. This model has been equipped with a twin-turbo V6 and is way quicker than other police modified vehicle.
Price and Arrival
As we already wrote at the beginning of this text, the new 2021 Ford Explorer will be released sometime in 2020 as the model 2021. The changes will be evident and we will get some new features, and engine options will be richer.
Furthermore, the price will remain the same as the current model. So, we can expect the price to be $32,500 for the base model. However, the sportier ST model will start at $50,000.
