2021 BMW X4 First Look, X4 M Specs

The new-generation 2021 BMW X4 has been announced and it will bring numerous upgrades. According to the latest photos, the BMW X4 will be redesigned and it will be available to purchase at the beginning of the next year.

Besides exterior changes, the upcoming model will provide a great cabin with modern touches. Moreover, the X4 M high-performance variant will be once more available with more aggressive styling, and it will use a stronger engine than the base model.

The forthcoming 2021 BMW X4 is an attractive SUV that will introduce mid-cycle updates. Like before, this SUV offers the same shape and dimensions. On top of that, styling is unique, and the manufacturer has improved its aerodynamics. At first glance, we can see that headlights and bumpers are more enlarged. The front fascia wears the famous double kidney grille, also present on almost all X-class models.

Generally, we like these mid-refreshments. On the back, this model sports the same spoiler as before and it gives an extra dose of sportiness. The base model is well equipped and the manufacturer added more standard equipment. The standard package will include a 10.3-inch display screen with the newest nifty gesture-control feature, 12-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto compatibility and so on.

The upcoming 2021 BMW X4 will be available with nine paint options. The color palette includes Alpine White, Flamenco Red, Jet Black, Dark Olive, Mineral White, Dark Graphite, Phytonic Blue, Glacier Silver, and Black Sapphire.

2021 BMW X4 Powertrain Specifications

The upcoming 2021 BMW X4 is the SUV that is lying on the robust platform. Thanks to that, this model will be offered with two engine variants. The base model is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 powertrain that delivers 248 horsepower. Like the previous version, the new one will come with 8-speed automatic transmission and it will use the all-wheel-drive system Xdrive as standard.

BMW X4 M Edition

The next powertrain is under the 2021 BMW X4 M model. The old engine is gone and has been replaced with the new turbocharged inline-6. According to the manufacturer, this powertrain will be able to deliver incredible 473 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mighty as you can see and thanks to it, the X4 M runs to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Like the base model, the M model also comes with the AWD system as standard.

The redesigned 2021 BMW X4 is a stylish SUV that will be equipped with the latest techs and quality materials that are all over the cabin. Because of all that, the starting price will be higher and this model is not cheap at all. The starting price of the X4 is $52,000. If you need more features, you can add it or choose the full version that costs $80,000.

X4 M variant is also on the offer and this model provides more aggressive styling starting at $62,000. We can expect the new X4 to arrive later this year as the 2021 model. Models like Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60 are the main competitors of the forthcoming X4 SUV.
