The next in the line is a stronger atmospheric 3.0-liter V6 that is able to deliver 333 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Both engines above are exclusively made for the USA market.

However, in the European market, the buyers will have the opportunity to choose a few diesel engines. The popular 3.0-liter TDI V6 engine that is also used on some of Audi`s models is on the offer with an output of 272 HP and 472 lb-ft of torque. The de-tuned version of this engine will make 218 HP and 369 pound-feet of torque. The RS Q8 model will also come with a strong engine 4.0-liter V8 that will produce 550 horses.

Hybrid Version

The hybrid powertrain is confirmed as well. The e-Tron version will come with a 3.0-liter diesel V6 and an electric motor. These combinations will provide a 373 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque and are connected to the 8-speed automatic transmission. However, at this moment there are no available fuel economy numbers.

The 2020 Audi Q8 is really great looking SUV that offers aggressive design and plenty of latest techs inside. However, it won’t be cheap. From the latest information, the base model will start at $60.000. The second generation is expected to be available at the beginning of next year. Models like BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe will be the mains rival to the new Audi Q8.
