2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid: Review, MPG, Specs

The all-new 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is ready to go on sale with excellent safety ratings, great fuel economy, especially in the hybrid version, and even more safety features. It is comfortable and nicely designed too, and it is offered with both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. Furthermore, it comes in three trim levels while the hybrid is available in the SV and range-topping SL trim which offers many modern infotainment and safety features.

Engine and performance of the 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid

The brand-new 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid will be powered by a hybrid engine as before. This unit will combine a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine with an electric motor of 30 kWh. So, the total output of 176 horsepower. The engine will be mated to a continuously variable transmission. And it will come with a choice between front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The front-wheel drive model will get 33 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel drive variant will be rated at 31 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

Design of exterior and interior

Visually, the 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid will feature a dynamic and clean design with many modern elements. The front end will wear a familiar V-Motion grille and edgy headlamps. On the rear, there will be the same taillights in a shape of a boomerang. The hybrid version will be available in the SV and SL trim levels and those will get more chrome details. As well, the power liftgate will be optional on the SV model while standard on the SL trim levels. The 17-inch wheels will be standard while the 18- and 19-inch wheels will be optional.

Inside, the 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is highly comfortable and comes with two rows of seats and ability to place five passengers. There is also plenty of room for the rear-seat passengers and the cargo space is great. It measures the room 39.3 cubic feet. And with the second row folded down, it expands to even 70 cubes. In the SV model, the driver’s seat is power adjustable and both front seats are heated. The base model comes with fabric cloth while the range-topping SL will feature rear leather seats.

The base model will come with cloth seats, active lane control, a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic emergency braking, 17-inch wheels, Bluetooth, and so on. The hybrid will be available in the SV and SL trim levels. The SV model will add more options and those include 18-inch wheels, rear automatic emergency braking, keyless ignition, upgraded audio, power-adjustable driver’s seat, and remote start. The SL version will get 19-inch wheels, leather, premium audio, navigation, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, remote start, and ProPilot Assist.

The 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is ready the hit the world’ market with the starting price of $26,000. The hybrid version will be around $28,000 while the range-topping SL is priced at $32,000.
