2019 Mitsubishi Pajero: Changes, Release Date, Specs

The well-known Japanese manufacturer has first introduced its full-size SUV called the Mitsubishi Pajero back in the 80s. Since then, it has changed through four generation while the current, the fourth has been present on the market since 2006. It is one of the most popular sport utility vehicles with excellent off-road capabilities. The current generation model hasn’t changed much for over a decade, and according to the latest rumors, the automaker should launch the next-gen model which should enter the showrooms as the 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero.

So, the 2019 model year will represent the fifth generation and we believe that it should be refreshed in pretty much every front. Starting from the external appearance, the new Pajero should get some styling changes so it looks more handsome and fresh. Moving to the cabin of the Pajero SUV, we should notice upgrades in materials and technology as well. In the engine department, the new Mitsubishi will most likely run the same engine as its forerunner. However, some sources claim that it might feature a new plug-in hybrid engine at some point in future. As well, the latest news has confirmed that the new Pajero should share the same underpinning with the new Nissan Patrol.
