2019 Infiniti QX30: Review, Price, Design

The Infiniti carmaker is known for its wide lineup of quality and good-looking SUVs, and its smallest crossover, the QX30 is only a few years old but has become very popular on the market. It has been introduced in 2017 and has lots in common with the Mercedes-Benz GLA Class. The current, 2018 model carries over unchanged and we are pretty sure that the upcoming, 2019 Infiniti QX30 will also continue with the same styling and same specification as before.

The QX30 stands out from the crowded SUV market with its unique and distinctive styling. The interior is also very pleasant and comfortable although some might find it a bit tight; but for a vehicle of that size, we are pretty satisfied. Furthermore, it is fun to drive and good to handle, and it is powered by a strong 4-cylinder unit. As well, it is available in many trim levels and those are the base, Premium, Luxury, and Sport versions. The QX30 comes with a variety of standard and optional equipment. However, with the optional equipment, it might get a bit expensive. Still, the QX30 is worth considering if you want a unique, bold, easy to park and great handle.

Speaking of the engine, the 2019 Infiniti QX30 will be powered by the same unit as the outgoing model and there is one single option for all the trim levels. It is a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine. This unit is able to generate 208 horses and 258 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It comes in two versions: with front-wheel and all-wheel drive systems. With front-wheel drive, it is rated at 24 mpg in the city, 33 mpg on the highway, and 27 mpg combined. The all-wheel drive versions get 21/30/25 mpg.

Design of exterior and interior

The exterior design also won’t be changed for the 2019 Infiniti QX30 since it is still fresh. It looks distinctive and attractive with its swoopy roofline, narrow LED headlamps and unique design of the grille which give it a bit aggressive appearance too. The rear end is also handsome with a mixture of glossy black trim, and metal and plastic elements.

Furthermore, it is going to be the same with the cabin of the 2019 Infiniti QX30 and no changes will be applied as well. The QX30 features nicely designed interior but it lacks in the space for the rear passengers. On the other hand, the front row passengers have plenty of space and comfort. The cargo space is average and offers the room of 19.2 cubic feet.
