Design of exterior

As far as the exterior is concerned, the 2019 GMC Terrain definitively looks distinctive and handsome with sharp lines, floating roof, blacked-out rear pillars, and prominent LED headlamps. The front end is dominated by the large grille and daytime running lights in a shape of a boomerang. In the standard model, the grille will feature standard three bars while in the Denali trim, the grille will get a chrome mesh pattern. The base model will ride on the 17-inch wheels while the larger 18 inchers will be optional. However, the range-topping Denali will use unique 19-inch alloy wheels.

Furthermore, the 2019 model year will now offer the new Black Edition version which will add darker exterior details and elements. So, the grille will be darker and will feature a black surround. The carmaker has also added black to the side-view mirror caps and roof rails.  As well, it will get 19-inch aluminum wheels with a glossy black finish and black exterior badging. Moreover, the Black Edition model will be available in five exterior colors. Those include Ebony Twilight Metallic, Graphite Gray Metallic, Summit White, Sedona Metallic, and Satin Steel Metallic. However, the Black Edition will only be available on the SLE and SLT trim levels.

The interior design of the 2019 GMC Terrain

The comfort and space inside the cabin of the 2019 GMC Terrain are pretty good. The Terrain comes with three rows of seats and can welcome up to five passengers. The cargo space is also very generous. And behind the second row, the GMC has the room of 29.6 cubic feet. But the rear seats can be flipped down and folded flat which increases the room to 63.3 cubic feet. Furthermore, the base model comes standard with cloth upholstery and manual adjustment, while the higher trim levels will receive leather upholstery and multi-way power adjustment. However, what you probably won’t like in the GMC Terrain is its hard plastics on the dashboard and doors.
